Providing the best in health improvement
The Community Health Improvement Network (CHIN) facilitates collaboration among community and provider partners to create joint programs and cooperative ventures that improve and sustain health care access and quality delivery, especially for underserved and underprivileged populations.
CHIN is part of The Montgomery Institute (TMI)–dedicated to “Upbuilding People and Places Sonny’s Way.” TMI celebrates the exceptional leadership legacy of the late Congressman G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery and continues to build on his lifetime of work to upbuild people and places in the region around his Meridian hometown.
We are proud to:
- Encourage health as a priority for you and your family
- Encourage regular check-ups and doctor visits.
- Heap you find health services you need even if you are underinsured and uninsured.
- Help you find transportation to your doctor visits.
- Help you put preventive health practices in place to keep you from using the Emergency Room for minor health issues.
- Work to keep you from going to the Emergency Room for non-emergency health issues.
- Provide community health education through “Lunch & Learn” and “Dinner & Learn” events.
